In the actual test, you may take notes to help you answer the test questions and prepare your responses. Your notes will not be scored.
There will be directions before each section. To dismiss the directions select Skip Directions.

In this section, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to understand academic passages in English. You will read and answer questions about two passages. In the actual test, you will have 36 minutes total to read both passages and respond to the questions. A clock will indicate how much time is remaining.
Some passages may include an underlined word or phrase. Select the word or phrase to see a definition, an explanation, or an illustration.
Move to the next question by selecting Next. You can skip questions and go back to them later if there is time remaining. Return to previous screens by selecting Back.
Select Review Questions at any time to see which questions you have answered and which questions you have not answered. From the Review screen, you may go directly to any question in the section. In the actual test, you may go only to questions you have already encountered.
